b) deprivation of liberty in corrective labor camps in remote regions of the USSR;
v) deprivation of liberty in general places of imprisonment;
g) corrective labor without deprivation of liberty1);

d) extinction of political and other civil rights;
e) exile from the territory of the USSR for a term;
zh) exile from the territory of the RSFSR or from the territory of other districts with or without obligatory residence in other places, or with or without prohibition of residence in other places;
z) discharge from a job, with or without prohibition of jobs in that or another profession;
i) prohibition of work in one or another activity or industry;
k) public condemnation;
l) confiscation of property -- entirely or partially;
m) monetary fine;
n) imposition of an obligation to repair the damage caused;
o) warning.
21. For the struggle with more serious types of crime, threatening the foundations of Soviet authority and Soviet government, even to the overthrow of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, in cases specially indicated by articles of this code, shooting is employed as an extraordinary measure for preservation of the state.
22. Death sentences cannot be made against persons, not at least 18 years of age at the moment of the crime, or against women in a pregnant condition.
*23. Proclamation to be an enemy of the workers with its consequences, deprivation of liberty, and compulsory labor without deprivation of liberty are the basic measures of social defence of a judicial-corrective character, employed towards persons who have committed a crime.
The remaining measures of social defense, indicated in Article 20, apart from warning and confiscation of property, can be employed independently or as supplements to a basic [measure]. Confiscation of property can be imposed as a supplementary measure of social defense only in cases especially provided for in the articles of this Code. [20 May 1930 (SU No 26, article 344)].
